ABSTRACT: This research explores innovations in online vocational education platforms, focusing on the advancements that have transformed vocational training delivery. The objectives were to (1) identify key innovations in online vocational education platforms, (2) assess the effectiveness of these innovations in enhancing learning outcomes, and (3) evaluate the challenges and opportunities associated with online vocational education. A survey design was chosen to collect data from students, educators, and platform developers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current practices and perceptions. The sample size included 200 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to ensure relevant experience with online vocational education. The case study was conducted in Abuja, Nigeria, known for its technological advancements and educational initiatives. Findings indicated that innovations such as interactive simulations, virtual labs, and AI-driven personalized learning significantly improved learning outcomes by providing practical and engaging learning experiences. However, challenges such as digital literacy gaps and limited access to technology were noted. Recommendations included increasing investment in digital infrastructure, providing continuous training for educators on using online platforms, and developing policies to ensure equitable access to digital learning resources.
